The body is deep rani pink silk, smooth and light-catching, with small gold buti placed down it in rows. The border is where it turns: a broad bottle-green band worked in gold zari, with a dense floral vine running its length and a heavier gold-and-green motif anchoring the pallu end.

The blouse is stitched in bottle green with maggam work — fine hand embroidery around the neckline and sleeves — tying the whole set to the green of the border.
